Key Milestones:
1917 – Liebel-Flarsheim founded in Cincinnati, manufacturing a wide range of medical devices including stethoscopes, hypodermic needles, medical and dental X-ray equipment, Bovie, and more.
1996 – Acquired by Mallinckrodt with a focus on manufacturing, engineering, service, and technical support. Development of urology suites, power injectors, contrast media warmers, and disposables.
2015 – Guerbet acquires CMDS (Contrast Media and Delivery Systems), and the Liebel-Flarsheim business is integrated into Guerbet’s portfolio.
